Terms & Conditions
By handing over items to Fresh Threads Laundry & Dry Cleaning (“Fresh Threads”), you agree to the terms below. These terms govern the service relationship between the customer and Fresh Threads.
1) Acceptance of Terms
Use of our services implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and any store notices displayed at the premises.
These Terms & Conditions are displayed at the store premises and are available online for customer reference.
2) Care & Processing Disclaimer
- We follow industry-standard processes suitable for the material/fabric type and care label (where available).
- Despite best care, cleaning may cause shrinkage, colour fading, bleeding, texture change, or damage due to material/fabric nature, manufacturing defects, prior wear/tear, or inaccurate care labels.
- Fresh Threads shall not be liable for such inherent risks.
3) Stain Removal
- No guarantee is provided for complete stain removal, especially for old or set stains.
- Stain removal attempts may weaken the material or affect colour/finish; the customer accepts this risk.
4) Item Condition & Valuables
- Please remove valuables (cash, jewellery, accessories, pens, pins, etc.) before submission.
- Fresh Threads is not responsible for loss/damage of valuables or items left inside submitted items.
5) Colour Bleeding & Sensitive / Special-Care Items
- Multi-colour items, heavy dyes, embellishments, and delicate materials may carry higher risk.
- Traditional and delicate garments (silk, zari, handwoven sarees, lehengas, dupattas, sequins, embroidery, etc.) are processed with utmost care but without guarantee.
- Special-care items including shoes, carpets, curtains, bags, blankets, upholstery covers, and similar articles are processed at the customer’s risk due to material, structure, usage condition, or existing wear.
6) Delivery Timelines
- Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to operational constraints, festivals, machine breakdown, power issues, or other events beyond reasonable control.
7) Loss or Damage – Limited Liability
In the rare event of loss or irreparable damage solely due to Fresh Threads’ negligence, compensation shall be limited to:
- Maximum 10 times the service value charged for the affected item, subject to a cap of the overall bill value.
- Market value, emotional value, brand value, or purchase price will not be considered.
- In case of compensation/refund, the disputed/damaged item shall become the property of Fresh Threads.
8) High-Value Items Declaration
- Please declare high-value items at submission. We may refuse service or process under limited liability.
9) Unclaimed Items
- Items not collected within 30 days of the due date may attract storage charges.
- Items unclaimed for 90 days may be disposed of/donated without liability.
10) Complaints & Claims
- Any complaint must be raised within 24 hours of delivery/collection.
- Claims after usage, alteration, or delayed reporting may not be accepted.
11) Force Majeure
Fresh Threads shall not be liable for delays or service failures due to events beyond reasonable control.
12) Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be subject to Hyderabad jurisdiction only.
